So, it’s not GIANT news, but it’s big for me. Last time I posted, I went on a tiny rant about blogging and how I’m kinda drifting away from it and how I would much rather do what I love (which I strongly encourage you to do as well) and get away from the internet. I got a lot of love from friends and family about that decision which was very encouraging.
So, after many weeks of deep thought, I’m facing my fears of rejection, possible loss of funds as well as precious time and I’m jumping out there. I researched local craft fairs and local consignment shops, had meetings with several organizers and weighed the pros and cons (over and over and over) and have driven myself mad trying to make a decision. I met with Woodstock Market yesterday and that meeting pretty much sealed the deal.
They are expanding which has given me an opportunity to get a space there. I’ve heard lots of great things about this place from the vendors, have been several times and have heard that spaces only rarely become available.
So, starting March 1st, Hearts & Sharts will have a space at Woodstock Market.
I’m nervous-excited, but I hear that’s a good thing.
I have a tiny (very tiny) sneak peak at a couple things that will be available in the booth. OH! And oh my goodness, you guys! I get to paint it and decorate it how I want (with approval) which I am SO stoked about. I’m hoping to do something a little crazy on the walls since I’m not brave enough to do it in my home. Anyway, you may have seen this footstool in a previous post, it’s gonna be up there…
But this next guy is new!
It’s a bench and chair set made by Gangso Mobler and is neatly upholstered in a tasty Dwell Studio fabric.
And pillows… there will be pillows.
And, of course, Norman and some of his new friends will be there…
If you live in the Atlanta area or if you are passing through (after March 1st), please stop in to Woodstock Market and check it out!
Raising a glass to new adventures!
Hug.
I know I’m waaay late to this party, but I really hope Woodstock Market is treating you well. Sounds like a fun endeavor and hope to see a pic of whatever crazy wall treatment you have in that creative brain of yours!
Hey! My crazy ideas were squashed. 🙁 I had a choice of four different shades of beige. Wah-wah. It’s been great otherwise!
Congrats buddy…wishing you all the best. Love that you are following your heart and your passion. Your mom would be so proud of you 🙂 Lots of love!
Awww! Thank you, Ro! Love you!
Must. have. whisky. box. I live in the area, so I will have my nose pressed up against the glass on March 1! Unless, ahem, you want to sell it to me right now.
TRUE: Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life!
I am so happy for you and your new adventure. I knew the first minute I met you that you were going to do great things here in GEORGIA! You are so talented and your enthusiasm in all that you set out to do just blows me away.
I still want to do a whole day of thrifting with you! You are my kind of gal…
Love ya!
