Hey y’all!
I’m excited to share with you guys an illustration I did for the Craft Box Girls. I submitted an application about a month ago and they selected me as one of their official shirt designers for National DIY Day. AND!! I have a coupon code for you to get the shirt!
National DIY Day is April 2nd and is a movement to celebrate creativity and the art of making. The movement supports AdoptAClassroom.org and their mission to give teachers a hand by providing much-needed classroom materials so that their students can learn and succeed. The CB Girls also made a super adorable video promoting DIY Day. It makes me feel like I can call cupcakes what they really are: craft supplies.
So, here’s the drawing:
DIY means something different to everyone; for some it’s building, for others it’s embroidery. So I tried to capture a broad range of DIY supplies without things getting too messy. I seriously drew a cupcake but couldn’t figure out a spot for it. I also snuck my initials into the glue gun, because I’m the Glue Gun Gangsta – in case you didn’t know.
You can purchase the shirt HERE and if you use code HEARTS, you get five bucks off!
Only $15 bucks after the coupon! And you’ll get your shirt by the week of March 27, just in time to sport it on National DIY Day, April 2nd.
If you wanna see what DIY Day was like last year, you can check out their recap here.
