Okay, America! It’s time to get out there a let your voice be heard!
What?! You’re tired of politics?!
Me, too, bros. Meeee toooo. You’re in luck because this is all about gift wrap!
In an effort to get some more eyeballs on the Griswold Gift Wrap, I’ve entered a design challenge on Spoonflower.

Here’s the design prompt: “It’s time to get cozy après ski in the Alpine Chalet of your dreams. Whether it’s a roaring fire, hot cocoa, or a log cabin deep in the Swiss Alps, conjure up a Chalet scene that will make us want to hang up our snowshoes and stay awhile.”
The winner of the challenge will get $200 in “spoondollars” and the top ten finalists will be featured in the SpoonFlower email that goes out to 400k people. That last part is really what I’ve got my eye on and the main reason I entered this challenge. If I can get even half of those people to look at my SpoonShop, and then half of those people to buy some gift wrap. Dang, even a fourth of those people would be awesome.
Here’s where I need your help: I need votes, baby! You don’t have to log in or create an account or anything like that. You will have to scroll through and find my design because they are randomized for each visitor to keep things fair. But here’s a little help… this is the pattern I designed for the challenge:
It’s all hand drawn per usual and it’s a non-directional design. I think the pro’s call this “tossed”. I noticed almost every other design is directional, as in, it has a top and a bottom. For fabric, I can see situations where you would want a directional design; dress-making for example. But, for gift wrap, I feel like it should be non-directional so that when you see the ends of the wrapped package, or the underside where the paper meets itself, it won’t be “upside down”.
And that, my dear voters, is how my design stands out from the others (insert generic political hand motion here).
CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE VOTING PAGE.
Voting is only open until November 16th!
If you could help me out, I’d love you even more than I already do (if that’s even possible).
Also, here’s the Griswold Gift Wrap in case you missed it in the last post:
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your love and support!
And just in case you didn’t notice, I’ve eliminated all ads from the site. Call me stupid, call me crazy, for opting out of the passive income but, they are just so dang annoying – even to me, on my site. It just drives me nuts. I would rather you be able to spend more time shoppin’ and gigglin’ than trying to get the damn ads to close (no, you didn’t really win a free iPhone). My intent here is to provide value… time is money and I sure as heck don’t wanna spend any time on a website where I can’t even get through the pop-ups or those loud ads that you can’t seem to find to turn off.
So, with all this “extra time” I’ve gifted you with, please vote and please hit the Shart Shops for some great-for-gifting-goodies.
I love you.
Looked, saw, voted for yours, and decided yours was the best anyway! Good luck. Yours looks most like wrapping paper and I love it.
Thank you TONS, Patty!!! Thank you!
Ok. Voted! 😉 and wow! 200 entries and urs is the only “nondirectional” one?! Awesome!! I love standing out too!! Good luck to ya!
Ps. Wow! U go girl with ur “hand drawn” self!
Yassss! Thank you, Amy! Starting to feel like this is hardly fair to the others with all this support. Thank you!!!

If you hit control f, you can find heartsandsharts, or just type in snuggle and boom, there you are. 🙂 Don’t vote on any others or you’ll dilute your vote. Good luck, Dena!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Nancy!
